Measure & Installation Procedure
In order for you to receive your countertops as quickly as possible, we use powerful software and precision machinery. To ensure that everything goes smoothly and without surprises, there are a few things you as a customer can do to help us.
- At the time of measure, have all accessories and appliances removed from existing countertops to ensure nothing is broken. We will not be responsible for any damage done due to moving items ourselves.
- Keep children and pets away from the work area for their safety and ours.
- We are not a remodeling firm — we specialize in stone countertops. We recommend contacting a qualified firm for any cabinetry work or other services needed, such as plumbing or electrical.
- Have all relevant information available to us, including models of sinks, cooktops, faucets, and other fixtures.
- When we install your new countertops we may encounter complications not visible prior to tear-out, such as cabinets that have settled or were installed out of level. If this occurs, we will shim pieces as needed for a proper fit. Small gaps can typically be caulked; larger gaps may require a wood trim piece to be provided, stained, sealed, and installed by others.
- On the day of installation, please ensure no other tradespeople are working in the installation area at the same time. We work with heavy pieces, and any wrong move or distraction can cause serious damage or injury.
- After installation, do not schedule any other tradespeople who will have direct contact with your countertops for at least 24 hours. This allows the epoxy and adhesives used to fully cure.
